My name is Megan and I'm exploring how this all works. I hope you'll follow along through my journey becoming a freelance writer and blogging about what I'm passionate about. I love exploring, eating food, and listening to country music to name a few.

Above you can see I was a wild child. Might dig out some old pictures and post about my crazy childhood eventually. (And no I'm not still blonde!)

But first a little bit more about myself...

Growing Up

I grew up like a lot of kids in the North East of the USA; eating mud pies, catching frogs, and watching Saturday morning cartoons. We loved camping when I was young so I love being outdoors and still go camping when I can. Before the internet was huge I also used to read something random from the encyclopedia every day. For anyone that doesn't know that was your internet before the internet.

Adulthood

Now as an adult I thankfully eat real pies (and occasionally make one), catch more fish than frogs, and watch less TV. I also fell in love with country music at a young age and still consistently listen to it every day. My random encyclopedia knowledge makes me pretty good at trivia too!
