Where Have I Been...

Hello and welcome back to the blog! If you're new here I apologize for the delay in my posts. And if you've been following along for the past few months welcome back!

Adam and I recently moved to the great state of Maine! If you didn't know Maine is known for moose, lobsters, blueberries, and lighthouses. We boast a large section of the Appalachian Trail, have many awesome camping opportunities, and as I love to say have more trees than people!

Going forward I want to continue getting a post up every week just like before and still on Wednesdays. Not only does it give me something to look forward to during the middle of the week but also for everyone following along I hope it helps out with the mid-week blues.

Something cool I found...

In our recent day trips Adam and I went to a town called Freeport. This town is famous as being the headquarters for L.L. Bean as well as having many other outlet shops in Freeport.

While there we stopped into the Freeport Marketplace, a place where local vendors all have little booths. There I was looking at something to add to my water bottle collection and I stumbled upon the goofy but amazing art of FortHouse Studios. Not only does he have creative art he is also an animator and sculptor. At the Marketplace he had an amazing chess set that was hand sculpted. Below is the cute sticker I got from the booth. There were many to choose from but this one I liked to for my outdoorsy bottle theme I have going. Here is the link to his Instagram if you want to check it out. He also has an Etsy store that he sells from as well!

In Closing...

Thanks to everyone who reads my posts and follows along. I do this for fun and like to give people places to go on day trips if they're ever in the area. As always you can always reach out and ask questions or say hi! Check back on Wednesday for a "real" post about some other fun things Adam and I have been up to in our new state!
